RE-SET. RE-ADJUST. RE-START. RE-FOCUS - Michele Normand

The other day one of my team mates stated to me how frustrated they are because they don't feel they are where they thought the would be at this point in our test.  I so understood that feeling. Life today can be so incredibly overwhelming and busy.  For me it's trying to balance, family, friends, running a business, housecleaning, pet care, paying bills, checking emails, responding to emails, project managing, laundry, shopping, meals, etc.  Then you throw in the unexpected things that come up and the time is just not there. On top of all that Spring has sprung!  Out jumps yard maintenance, gardening, school events, proms, baby showers, graduations, house maintenance.  There is so much more to do and events to attend. You feel as though you are swimming upstream against the strongest current you have ever experienced to achieve the goals you have set for yourself.  It's not that you are not trying!  I look at all of us that are testing this year and I see four amazing wonderful people who try their best at everything they do and give of themselves in any way they can. We set our standards HIGH and work to be beyond perfection. It's not surprising we are feeling overwhelmed and frustrated about not achieving our 10 mile list of goals.   We have talked about re evaluating our goals, although we don't like it, we are learning it's ok to RE-SET, RE-ADJUST, RE-START and RE-FOCUS!

  1. This is so very true. It is by no means easy in any way but totally necessary sometimes. This test is one that will challenge us in many expected and many unexpected ways, and that's okay. So long as we keep moving forward.
